Respite Services

Funded by DCF (Department of Children & Families) and referred by the Children’s System of Care (CSOC), youth ages 12-20 are referred to Abilities for Respite care services.

Services are designed to offer families the opportunity for a break from caregiving responsibilities on a temporary or emergency basis for intermittent or short periods of time, while providing a positive experience for the youth receiving the services.

Abilities has been contracted by DCF for Respite care services since 2016.
