Medical Supports program provides individualized treatment plans, occupational and speech therapy, pre-vocational training, routine well-treatment, sensory programming, life skills training, community inclusion, arts and crafts activities, and ongoing service intervention, as needed. All activities are geared toward increasing independence.
Behavior Supports can be provided to individuals on an as needed basis, based on each individual’s needs. Data collection, behavioral assessment, development of behavior support plans/recommendations, training and implementation, as well as ongoing plan maintenance are all services provided by Abilities Agency Behaviorist.
Additionally, all of Abilities’ Direct Support Professionals include qualified nursing staff, board certified behavior analyst and required to be certified in Crisis Management. The carefully constructed program is designed to teach all staff with any consumer contact, methods to recognize, prevent, and, if necessary, control an individual in a behavioral crisis.
